Pradeep Koneru’s Trimex Group signs MoUs for two beach sand projects with an investment of Rs 2,500 cr. The MoUs with Andhra government were inked during the ongoing CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam.
Pradeep Koneru’s Trimex Group has signed two MoUs with Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop mining projects at Bhavanapadu and Kalingapatnam in the state. The MoU was signed by Trimex Group managing director Pradeep Koneru in the ongoing CII Partnership Summit on Monday.
The activities include an expected speculation of Rs 2,500 crore and will create 5,500 immediate and backhanded openings for work, as indicated by the organization. Bhavanapadu shoreline sand substantial minerals venture will be executed by Trimex Heavy Minerals Private Limited (THMPL), while Kalingapatnam task will work under the aegis of Trimex Ores Private Limited (TOPL), it said.
Pradeep Koneru said the state government has given on a basic level endorsement for the gift of digging lease for shoreline sand minerals like Ilmenite, Rutile, zircon, garnet and sillimanite over a degree of 17.88 square kilometers. THMPL proposes to add to the digging lease territory for the mining of 10 MTPA of overwhelming mineral sand alongside pre-fixation plant of 1,525 ton for each hour and introduce a mineral partition plant of 270 tons for each hour for the generation of Ilmenite, Rutile, zircon, garnet and sillimanite substantial minerals.
“We have obtained all required permissions from various government statutory agencies for the execution of the project. We have also got mining plan approvals from the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) and the Atomic Minerals Director for Exploration and Research (AMD) along with coastal regulatory zone (CRZ) and environmental clearance from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF), New Delhi,” Pradeep Koneru said.
The Bhavanapadu undertaking would involve a venture of Rs 1,500 crore and will produce 1,000 immediate and 2,000 aberrant vocation opportunities. By the mining will begins inside of two years from the date of the execution of the lease.
At Kalingapatnam, Trimex Ores proposes to add to the digging lease range for mining of 4 MTPA of substantial mineral sand alongside pre-fixation plant of 600 tons for each hour and introduce a mineral partition plant of 90 tons for every hour for the creation of Ilmenite, Rutile, Zircon, Garnet and Sillimanite overwhelming minerals. The proposed venture includes an expected speculation of Rs 1,000 crore. The mining operation will begin inside of two years from the execution of the lease assention.
Pradeep Koneru said that these undertakings would see the utilization of opencast motorized mining strategy including dry mining and digging. “No drilling and blasting or sorting of the material at mine site are necessary. The excavated minerals will be transported to the pre-concentration plant (PCP) by trucks.
In the re-locatable or floating pre-concentration plant, equipment like spirals, classifier, screen, column floatation will be used to concentrate minerals in the ROM into three to four mineral rich concentrates,” he said.
